Usually not for the leak itself. Most policies exclude gradual damage, wear and seepage, which describes most pool leaks. Sudden, accidental damage from a covered event, such as a fallen tree or a lightning strike, may be treated differently, and some policies classify a pool as an “other structure” with its own limits.
Check your policy or ask your insurance agent. We are not an insurance company and cannot tell you what your policy covers. What we can provide is the written report from the detection visit, which is what an adjuster will ask for.
